Adult Classes and Workshops

Phone: For credit card registration by phone

• Have title of the class and credit card number with expiration date handy. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
• Call to be put on the list for payment at the door or leave a message/e-mail with your name, phone number and title of the class.

Web-site: PayPal according to PayPal rules and regulations. PayPal shuts down registration at 4pm the day before the class. This does not mean the class is closed, call for registration. Drop by and pay at the door as long as there is not a class limit.

At the door: Although pre-registration is appreciated, walk-ins are accepted as long as there is not a class limit. Class payments can only be done by cash or check to NOBG (New Orleans Botanical Garden) when paying at the door.

Workshops: Requires full payment two weeks before the workshop. If you must cancel your registration, inform us as quickly as possible so we can notify someone on our waiting list. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 5 working days before the workshop.

Cancellations of classes
If a class does not reach minimum registration level, the class may be canceled at the garden’s discretion. You will receive a phone call and/or e-mail notification, and any registration fees will be either refunded or used as credit for another class.

The areas for classes, workshops and tours would be in the following areas which would be indicated in the class description:

• Classes-Garden Study Center
• Workshops-Garden Study Center, Lath House or Pelican Greenhouse
• Tours-Gift Shop Entrance

Gate will open ½ hour before the class starts and is located on Victory Avenue. It is the second gate from the gift shop entrance towards Storyland, signs inside will direct you to the Garden Study Center.

Note: All money goes back into our education classes; there is no discount for Friends of City Park. We do discount our Garden Volunteers and continuing education for Master Gardeners.
